SMS Terms & Conditions

What you agreed to when you ticked the consent box, in the order you'd want it: how to stop, how often I text, and what it costs.

Last updated: September 10, 2026

Stopping takes one word. Reply STOP to any message from me and the texts end. Reply HELP and you'll get my name and phone number back. Or just call (813) 833-2628 and say so.

Who is sending

Messages come from Shane Kaibney, a licensed insurance agent (NPN 21273611) operating as SHANE K-HLA LLC, Tampa, Florida. Not a call center, not a marketing agency working on my behalf.

What the program is for

This program has one purpose: following up on a coverage request you submitted on this website. That means answering your question, sending you the options you asked to see, confirming a time to talk, and the occasional reminder about a policy you already hold with me. It is not a promotional blast list and I don't send offers you didn't ask about.

How you opted in

You ticked the consent box on the quote form at kaibney.com and entered your own mobile number. That box reads:

"I agree to receive calls and text messages from Shane Kaibney about insurance at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

The box is never pre-ticked, and there is no other route into this program. No imported list, no numbers bought from anywhere, no one else's customers.

Consent to texts is not a condition of buying anything. You can get a quote, a phone call and a policy without ever agreeing to a text message.

Message frequency

Frequency varies, because these are conversations rather than a broadcast. In practice that's a few messages in the days after you reach out, then only when there's something to say: a scheduled call, a document you asked for, a renewal date coming up.

Cost

I don't charge for messages. Message and data rates may apply from your own mobile carrier, exactly as they would for any text. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The keywords

ReplyWhat happens
STOPYou're unsubscribed. You'll get one confirmation message and then nothing further to that number.
HELPYou'll get a reply with my name and phone number.
STARTIf you stopped and want back in, this re-subscribes the number.

Unsubscribing from texts does not cancel any coverage, and it doesn't stop me calling you if we're mid-application. Tell me if you'd like the calls to stop too, and they will.

Supported carriers

Messages are supported on all major U.S. carriers. Delivery is not guaranteed. Carriers filter traffic, and a message can be delayed or dropped without either of us being told.

Privacy

Your mobile number is used to contact you and for nothing else. It is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone for their marketing, and mobile opt-in data is not shared with third parties for any purpose other than delivering the messages you asked for. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
